Swordtail Records is now in it's 3rd year of operation from down under Australia. The label aims to bring you some of the freshest progressive sounds from producers all around the globe. With Australia not having many progressive based labels at the moment, we here at Swordtail thought it was time to try and sort that problem out.
All releases come with a variety of mixes to cover off different styles ranging from Progressive through to Downtempo and including Tech and Deep House. A number of the releases have and will continue to bring new and exciting vocal talents to the forefront. The original mix really encapsulates the chill feeling with a strong undercarrage topped off with lush floating vocals. Matthew Adams toughens up the percussion and brings in some deep synths. Bad Amplifier slices the vocal into pieces and gives the track a real ethnic vibe. Jayless closes out the package with an upbeat housey number where the rubbery bassline bounces from one side to the other.
