Ready Mix Records was established in Montreal by Adel "BiG AL" Ghandour and partner Zee Soussane in 1999 with a vision to offer a product that is artistically whole, esthetically beautiful and musically explosive. Our covers are designed and created by unique and talented artists the same way our music is, allowing the cover of our audible journey be the canvas of our designer's vision.

Since the beginning of the year, the chemists at the Ready Mix lab have been hard at work, concocting new musical elixirs, plotting new sounds, putting mad musical science to the test and passing with flying colours and will continue to do so in order to bring you the finest in today’s house music.
Presenting another long awaited drop, this time produced by renowned duo Nosmo and Kris B. This much anticipated release is called “Grouse”, twice remixed and sure to make huge waves this summer.
The original track stands out as an impeccably engineered musical exploration. This highly infectious and groovy tune is filled with hauntological elements, crisp sonics and hunks of beaty goodness. This multi-layered experiment is a bass heavy, carefully textured arrangement, doused in warmth & fluidity. Cavernous pads and cascading synth effects are polished off by a dash of old school percussion instantly familiar to any house connoisseur. As the track gains momentum, a wild-pitched, grizzly build-up catapults it to a brilliant climatic effect. The echoing vocals are sultry and hypnotic.
For those who often opt for instrumental B-sides, the dub version by Nosmo and Kris B. is the right choice. This edited version has been stripped of the main vocal only to be scantily heard sweeping across the track, variably processed. Both the main track and the remix are masterfully done.
The first remix is signed Manuel de la Mare, a newcomer to the Ready Mix family. Producer, DJ and A&R, also known as Sara Galli, After Tea and Combo, his alterego projects, Manuel de la Mare has over 50 releases ranging from techno to house. He is supported, playlisted and charted by many djs around the globe. In 2008, he gained 11 Beatport top tens in four different genres to confirm his eclectic style, including the huge success of his Underworld's "Born Slippy" official cover (ranking second in overall Beatport chart and first in progressive house).
Manuel throws together a strong remix that makes its presence felt from the get-go. Highly bombastic, carved with fuzzy electro sounds and syncopated beats, its military thrust attacks and stomps through every intense buildup. As the song steadily marches on, it borrows the original track’s highly recognizable cavernous pads and cascading hook, reminding the listener where it all came from. Beautifully executed!
The second remix is brought to you by Levente Szabo from Hungary, aka Human8. Sound and emotion just naturally pours out of this remix as Human8’s fantastic rendition is a carefully calibrated orchestration that swells into a pleasant and heartfelt experience. This club friendly version will engulf its listener with its bubbling, trance-like chord sequences and capture dancefloors with its straightforward bass and impetuous beat.
Human8’s Dub version is an instrumental interpretation of its former self.
