Ready Mix Records was established in Montreal by Adel "BiG AL" Ghandour and partner Zee Soussane in 1999 with a vision to offer a product that is artistically whole, esthetically beautiful and musically explosive. Our covers are designed and created by unique and talented artists the same way our music is, allowing the cover of our audible journey be the canvas of our designer's vision.

Ready Mix Records is back with a release straight from Holland. When we were presented with the opportunity to sign this track, we did not hesitate. TC Maniak is somewhat of a mystery who is strangely serious about his privacy. We tried to hunt him down to get some more information to share with you, but all we could get was that following his stay in rehab in Switzerland, he was inspired to create “Nudity & Phlegm”.
Rarely has TC Maniak disappointed in the past with releases on Presslab Records, Composure Records, Sprout, Reticent & DLA Records to name but a few. He once again strikes the perfect balance between a release that can bring a dancefloor to a frenzy and a song that is oozing with quality and intelligent sequencing.
The original mix offers an extended intro that slowly and smoothly eases its way into a deep interlude of pleasant atmospheric ambient grooves,
rich in melody.
Pako & Frederik get on the Remixing duties and offer an alternate mix that is more dj friendly, kicking off right from the start with razor sharp beats and eccentric elements with slightly more edge and bounce.
Pako & Frederik have been part of the Dutch dance scene for over a decade, gaining worldwide recognition for their productions, dj'ing and live sets. An early staple and one of the main anchors of the ever popular Global Underground label since its emergence, they have received worldwide acclaim and praise starting with the likes of John Digweed who has supported them since 1999. Forming their own label in 1996 www.sitrep.nl, their production capabilities led to numerous remix requests that consequently appeared on Digweed`s Bedrock label as well as Nervous Records and Dorigen Music amongst many others with the repeated result of always assuring a surge of copies sold.
Over the past decade their music has been licensed to feature on compilations by Sasha & Digweed, Anthony Pappa, Derrick Carter and Jerry Bonham. They have also compiled three of their own mixed cd's and have Two Albums along the way.
On the second remixing job, also from Holland, is another prolific producer who is rapidly reaching the same status as his predecessors. Having also recently released his first full length album on Global Underground entitled “Naturally Artificial”, Eelke Kleijn`s name has become synonymous with a defined and solid sound that rarely falters to inspire. Continuing in his signature style of originally crafting numerous elements and melodies with flair and complexity, he presents a remix that effortlessly and naturally complements the original TC Maniak production.
Eelke augments the overall energy levels creating an all around thumper superimposed by rich pads with a very housy feel. Exquisite beat arrangements announce an almost minimal affair before taking flight into a full fledged masterpiece filled with warmth, excitement and all the signature traits we have come to love in his compositions.
We are extremely pleased to welcome T.C. Maniak and Pako & Frederik to the Ready Mix family, and to have Eelke Kleijn return after his remix of Stan Kolev's 'Flashback' to churn out this new rendition.
