Proton Music(Los Angeles, Calfornia, United States) protonradio.com
Proton Music was founded in April of 2005 by Proton Radio director and Particles host Jason Wohlstadter (aka Jay Epoch). The inspiration for the label came from it's first release, "Fingerpaint" by Digital Witchcraft, which at the time was having trouble finding a home.
The label aims to capture the variety of genres played on Proton Radio while keeping true to Jay Epoch's musical taste: atmospheric and melodic electronica. Visit ProtonRadio.com for the official Proton Music website with detailed information on all our releases and extended previews of all our tracks.
Proton Music releases biweekly on Beatport, iTunes, and other digital retailers.
Paronator is one of the latest Russian prodigies to emerge onto the scene this year. Played by John Digweed on his 'Transitions' radio show and signed to Pole Folder's 80Hz-Digital label, this aspiring producer's Deep House sounds has captured the attention of many to become one of Proton's best-selling artists of 2008 with a Top 10 Deep House best-seller at Beatport.
Now Paronator (aka Pavel Iudin) presents "Oceanic" on Proton Music featuring remixes from Sebastian Davidson, Sam Fraser, Masque, and newcomer tONKPROJECT. The entire package has been geared with a deep mindset. If you dig it, both Paronator and Masque have been selected to remix music from Umek for Proton Music in 2009.
