Outside the Box Music was launched in 2006 and is the creative outlet of Dutchman Eelke Kleijn. Besides being a home base for his own productions, Outside the Box Music aims to release quality music from upcoming as well as established producers. In terms of music the label is as diverse as its name suggests, many releases not being easy to pigeonhole into a certain style but instead cross the conventional borders between them.
With releases and remixes by the likes of Dualtone (Johan Vermeulen / Jermain Hatusupy from Fine Taste & Infinitize), Kosmas Epsilon, Nick Hogendoorn, Roger Martinez, Sebastian Davidson and head-honcho Eelke Kleijn himself, the label has built up a pretty varied sound and identity. DJ Support has come from many different corners, including Hernan Cattaneo, Jimmy van M, Anthony Pappa, Fish Go Deep, Paul van Dyk and Nick Warren. Outside the Box Music is slowly but steadily becoming a well known name in quality house music.

Hailing from Israel, Pini Falach aka Heatsteric delivers a great 9th release on Outside the Box Music. We picked this up as soon as we heard it. Driven by a wicked, punchy bass line, Boiling Point has a catchy progressive groove to start from. Short stabs and melodic hits carry the track along, electro influences make sure it has that aggressive, current day sound. Yet Boiling Point does not fall into clichés, staying interesting, funky and danceable throughout.
We invited Kosmas Epsilon for remix duties, resulting in a ten-minute epic track which does not really fit into one particular category, exactly the way we like it! Kosmas delivers as usual. A massive bass line pushes the track forward in a progressive matter, while smart vocal hits and melodic riffs give it that warm, tech house feeling. All elements eventually come together in a sublime climax. What more can we say? Check it out!
