Outside the Box Music was launched in 2006 and is the creative outlet of Dutchman Eelke Kleijn. Besides being a home base for his own productions, Outside the Box Music aims to release quality music from upcoming as well as established producers. In terms of music the label is as diverse as its name suggests, many releases not being easy to pigeonhole into a certain style but instead cross the conventional borders between them.
With releases and remixes by the likes of Dualtone (Johan Vermeulen / Jermain Hatusupy from Fine Taste & Infinitize), Kosmas Epsilon, Nick Hogendoorn, Roger Martinez, Sebastian Davidson and head-honcho Eelke Kleijn himself, the label has built up a pretty varied sound and identity. DJ Support has come from many different corners, including Hernan Cattaneo, Jimmy van M, Anthony Pappa, Fish Go Deep, Paul van Dyk and Nick Warren. Outside the Box Music is slowly but steadily becoming a well known name in quality house music.

Dublin based DJ and producer Soulfinder (Stephen Hogg) has been involved in music since he was 10, listening to all kinds of dance music ranging from Cosmic Baby to Moby. After taking up Djing as a teenager, he quickly saw himself advance to the next level, playing at most of the top radio stations and major clubs in Ireland. It wasn't until 2006 that he decided to take up producing, with noticeable result; Nick Warren quickly picked up his tracks Forte and Colour of Love, and charted the first one in his March top 10.
With great anticipation we present his debute release on Outside the Box Music, 'The Trauma EP'. Stephen's talent for creating lush melodies and enchanting rhythms immediately shines through. From the first beat onwards, this EP will grab you and won't let go; slightly reminiscent of the '90s progressive house, but slower paced and well thought out in a more modern setting. With more music coming up this year and a number of remixes in the pipeline, we are very certain that Stephen has a great future ahead of him.
