Josh DuPont, Grunjah and Vitas Merkel all join Nightshade to remix Electroaspect's techy melodic orignal tune. 'Intuition' comes in with a pumped up housey beat as melodic elements tease and the driving bass rolls underneath, giving way to a clean slow haunting arpeggiated synth riff that comes in throughout as the dynamics build. Electroaspect (Aljaz Fajmut, Slovakia) has been making quite a name for himself lately with well received releases on Audio Logic, Witty Tunes and other top labels. Josh DuPont (Armada, Houston TX) is first up on remix duties and delivers a straight forward progressive tech house club smash. Tight focused percussion and a driving bassline with bits and pieces of the original melodies work their way to big clubby chord stabs, this mix will get your danefloor moving. Grunjah (Germany) adds his own feel with trippy beats and production, capitalizing on the strong melodics from the original, taking things down for a lush chord based part and up to a big crescendo, subtle yet very driving. Vitas Merkel (Lithuania, half of Keen Snake upcoming NSM022) rounds out the first part of this release, starting his mix with big deep percussion and snippets from the main synth line, a deep funky tech house groove, spoken vocal samples and a frantic use of the double time arpeggio adding a big dynamic change toward the end. Part two of this release will be up next and feature remixes from Mike Kiraly, Torin and Colin C.
