Founded in 2006, NOSI Music was born from the energy of music, travel and excitement. New York City-based A&R Gil Kuruneri has taken that excitement and transferred it into an idea: reach out to talent and bring it to the masses. His vision is an amalgam of design, music and lifestyle.
NOSI Music is an open source in the new paradigm of music and music labels. A company for creative relationships coupled with strong visions of the future. NOSI Music is reaching out to crowds of discerning clubbers and music enthusiasts with its inclusive idealism.
Assured success these days is based on diversity. NOSI Music supplies that with its inroads into event bookings and creating atmospheres that inspire excellence – welcoming dancers and listeners to events and releases worldwide.
All of the artists that are signed to NOSI Music are leaders in their respective dance music communities. From wherever they are, they are the people leading the front line of this new culture.
By creating an open relationship with artists, NOSI Music has drawn the new guard of producers with that same vision. Now young artists are flocking to NOSI Music because of its belief in new talent and the ability to give them a platform to breath.
World resident Corey Baker is bringing his brilliance back to NOSI Music for his third release on the label.
New Mashine is a beautifully detailed post minimal track. A tight upstanding bass line counterbalances a carbonated top line that keeps a real positivity to the proceedings.
A 90's style big room house stab pushes the track, at first with a light touch, then morphing into a force to carry the full build up. The track doesn't so much break as tease, with a coursing first level rebuild that launches into the main body.
Two thirds through a spaced out break with a short drum build leads into the finale. Bells, whistles and bullets collide, but never cloud this percolating fun house.
