RedLoft (Ivan Bustamante) from Mexico has teamed up with Silence 'O' Phobia (Gergely Karner) from Hungary to give us this release called "2 Cities". RedLoft has previously released tracks on labels such as Toes In The Sand and Deepsessions, and Silence 'O' Phobia has also had a release on Deepsessions; other labels include LuPS and Silk Digital.
This track features great percussion lines and enjoyable melodies that are placed in many different layers; the delayed background synths and the distinct theme melody for instance. The beat is quite strong and supports the melodies very well.
On first remix duty is East Cafe (Gabor Kaszas) from Hungary, who delivers a remix with cool pad layers and other interesting elements. The break, for instance, is one of these; it's introduced by a break beat and supported by the great bassline afterwards.
The only breaks remix on this release comes from Dynamic Illusion (Daniel Gyarmati) from Hungary. It features numerous synth lines with fine melodies; the piano, for instance, plays some really enjoyable notes once in a while. Furthermore, the brisk percussion lines together with the deep bassline create a funky rhythm that is really unique and memorable.
Final remix comes from Hungarian Jabocca (Gabor Pasti). The groove in this remix is rather techy and deep, and some of the percussion elements are quite interesting as well. The breaks with the original theme melody are cool deviations from the rest of the techy elements.
