After 2004 saw Mathias Bradler and Henri Hurtig, the two men behind the projects Mashtronic and Tronic Inc become favourites with DJs ranging from John Digweed to Pete Tong, Desyn Masiello, Sasha, Cattaneo and Luke Fair and even Judge Jules for their material which fused elements of funk, disco, electro and progressive in a way that would earn them a reputation for creating big dancefloor tracks, the logical step was to start their own label on which they could develop this idea further.
Mashtronic Records provides an outlet for Mashtronic and friends to bring a wide range of electronic music to DJs and music lovers alike, whilst keeping the dancefloor firmly in mind.
Elegant Universe was established in 2006 and is led by Amir Ardon, a multi disciplinary artist who is creating innovative music and designs for more than 10 years.
The project has been sharing massive releases on Baroque, Flow, Flow Vinyl, Sprout, Vapour (Placed #2 on The Balance Promote Chart), Iboga and Prestige.
Amir, an Israeli artist and the father of the Elegant Universe project is a multi talented creator whose work range from web design, through drawing and creating 3d animation for TV advertising and to his special passion – creating original electronic music. Amir is playing the guitar since he was 12 years old and is professionally creating music for artistic and commercial use for the last 10 years.
In Elegant Universe, Amir combines his arts, and produces refreshing tracks that reflect an interesting variety of musical genres from down tempo minimal to electro house and fat progressive beats.
Elegant Universe has been receiving great acceptance from the scene, kicking with a 12" release on Vapour Records featuring the tracks "Superchainer" and "Insight", and getting outstanding feedbacks from names like Nick Warren, Mashtronic, Hernan Cattaneo, Slok and Armin van Buuren. Superchainer EP has followed the glowing tendency with two special picked gems, "Music "Funtastik", released on Method / Baroque Records. The project's remix work for Oliver Moldan's on Sprout records received a very warm support from the likes of Anthony Papa" and, C-Jay, Kosmas Epsilon and Hernan Cattaneo.
