Dark Pleasure Recording is a Bursa / Turkey based label that aims to release high quality progressive techno-house music from different producers from all over the world. The label was created in 2008 by Sezer Uysal. The label exists to promote progressive house on the local scene and all around the world.
Already being DJs and electronic music producers by hobby, we decided to contribute, in our way, more actively to that scene. In response to this yearning, we decided to co-found Dark Pleasure Recordings, a label that we officially launched in the spring of 2008. Our first plan was to put in one's two cents in the sound we esteemed by promoting the result of our influence through a pure progressive house style.
From the early idea through the first release, being greatly immersed in progressive music and consuming a cluster of tracks, we had the chance to refine our tastes and officially find our way... the way that converges towards the Dark Pleasure sound!... A progressive house music that mixes house and techno with a touch of dark & deep grooves. Due to the groove specific to the two first influences... and the concern about "good-quality-recordings", a typical feature of the progressive sound! ... we found in PROG, the foundations of our own sound. We officially recognize that PROG got to us, but keeping in mind that progressive music offers many possibilities.
Dark Pleasure Recordings will release both on 12" vinyl and digital format and the music is available at many electronic music online stores (for ex., junodownload.com, trackitdown.net, beatsdigital etc.) as well as in many record shops (international and local).
After a summer-break we are back again with Danny Terrazza and his amazing "Deeper Fields" EP with killer remixes from “Sezer Uysal” and “Kostas Skretas”
“Original mix” This mix starts with a very interesting beats. Some laidback atmospheric sounds on the background. Great melody provided with a great synth sound and then the beat is back again. The melody goes on and everything sounds complete. Truly, an amazing atmopshere around this track. Nothing is too loud, every part in this track sounds right.
“Sezer Uysal mix” This mix starts way different than original mix. After half a minute, the beat is introduced with a great sound. again, a minor break at around one minute. Great synth and pads it really catches people interest. You can hear the melody of Original Mix a bit in this version of the track, but it has been altered quite a lot. At around three minutes we have break, there is a great atmosphere in this track. Interesting break, with a deep pads and a cool fade-awaying melody. Then the whole thing starts coming up again, with new background sounds.
“Kostas Skretas mix” It starts with a very cool beat and then after thirty seconds the beat is going up and track is going for bass.. After one minute, the beat is back again and the only difference from the previous track is that it has a different beat and different hats, shakers and more of that kind. But then we have a very smooth background sound with a harmonic sounds and elements.
