About Bombis Records --------------------- What happens when you get 2 individuals together who both have their own notorious reputations of being just wild party animals in a studio?
A new Label thats what.........
Dave Brennan and Paul Donton hooked up at the start of the year. Paul Donton was the apprentice wanting to get himself more into production and Dave Brennan was the master who already, an established producer releasing music on big labels such as End Recordings and Studiotek.
From hooking up they compared their wacky twisted ideas and began producing music together. and from then on the rest is history so to speak as now Bombis Records has been born......
The concept behind Bombis Records has been brought forward from an idea thought out by Dave coming from his tune Bomb's Acid (released on end recordings).
and so it be told they wont be just new productions from Paul Donton & Dave Brennan themselves but a further element of pushing new talent and old to give YOU (the people) more of a concept of what good music is all about...
Watch this space more info and releases coming at you soon!!!!!!
Overall Biography........
This label is about delivering good specialised electronic music to people with a difference. Overall both Paul Donton and Dave Brennan got fed up with the narrow concept which had begun seeping into club land. This being, a boring minimalistic sound which has a narrow perception and does not give the real inspiration for people to dance and really enjoy themselves.
From the label they are hoping to make a major change and also develop a sound that will rubber-stamp them into 'making that difference'.
"There is so much boring music coming through and the same sound" Donton implies "It is just becoming a series of swings and roundabouts where you are getting music without any feel or emotion"
"I thought that being able to be creative and getting this label off the ground will make that difference, A difference where I can put some real stuff together (not just a series of plops & squeaks and call it a so called proper track) and deliver outstanding results".
"I am also wanting to find fresh new artists who are not getting those opportunities to give people some real stuff. Those who's opportunities I would like to give, show off their own sounds and stand out from those who appear to follow this same simplistic boring threshold"
"Ears are here to be trained and stimulated by sound and your body should be able to feel music too to get those dancing booty shoes on!!!"
- Dave Brennan explains the term Bombis "Bombis was a thing We all called each other after a good night out in the Acid days. The concept of Bombis is to be in a state of"BomBliss" on the dance floor. Spending so many nights on those very Dance floors as well as Dj booths where you have those moments of pure Bliss perhaps feeling that special spiritual moment with someone, you see their Soul uplifted and come alive within that intimate moment …this is my concept
That every record from Bombis will give someone that spiritual feeling and allow them to become more evolved due to the sounds they are experiencing"

Michael Deep (USA) (DJmix.net, Mypromopool.com)
"Liking the feel of Starts with an S. Very strange and mysterious vibe, mostly because of the dissonant combination of notes being used. Ends with a T is too chill to do any major damage on a dancefloor. This is more deep house, and I think would work well for opening or in a radio set." - 4.0 / 5
