Erphun (pronounced "Er-fun" as you didn't ask) means "the state of being on a higher spiritual level" in Farsi which pretty much sums up how Ali Zaree feels when he's making music. A native of Los Angeles, California, this is Ali's debut solo outing for Audio Therapy straight off the back of his well received remix of Dubfunk's 'Eternal Rhapsody' and somehow, we doubt it will be his last.
Already championed by the likes of Steve Lawler, Sasha and of course, our very own, Dave Seaman, '2wo Butterflies' comes in four different forms.
Erphun himself provides two different styles, I is full of beautiful melodies where as II takes a darker more twisted direction. No stranger to the Therapy label Oliver Moldan teams up with Norman Zube to create a driving tech infused workout on the first remix. Last but certainly not least, Mat Zo steps up to the plate and drops an absolutely relentless stormer of a mix that rocks from start to finish and will definitely do some serious dancefloor damage.
So there you have it. One producer, 2wo Butterflies, two remixes and more quality music than you should be legally allowed in a confined space. But then, what you get up to in your own time is your own business! Go forth my friends. Enjoy!
