Christopher Manik returns to Audio Logic with his first LP titled Astoria & The Skeleton Key. Christopher's recent productions have been big as of late getting support all around the globe. Having produced remixes and originals for Autist, Definitive, Harthouse, Morrison, Nightshade and Audio Logic all within the last year, Christopher's career is accelerating forward quickly.
Christopher shows his diversity with Astoria & The Skeleton Key having included tech-house, progressive and chill-out tunes all of high quality. The Smiley Face Gang explodes onto the aural senses with crushed synths beginning it's techy groove. Blippy synth patterns and glitchy percussive bits work into a frenzy. Stong bass lines and big crashes finish off the track as it seems if you were in a riot! Dobbs Battery Room goes straight for the big rooms with it huge hook. A massive low end bass line accompanies the massive hook and crushed claps add a minimal flair. Two Pianos is a stormer of a track. Big Big pianos combined with a wicked bass line should equate to total destruction on every dance floor across the globe. If I were a betting man I would say this tune will be the shining star of the release. November features a stuttering synth line taking listeners on a melodic, progressive journey and the track has an epic feel to it. Monster and Juniper are Christopher's down-tempo tunes showing off his versatility. Monster has a movie sound-track feel to it with piano, pads conveying tons of emotion. Juniper finishes off the LP in proper fashion with a calming, dreamy vibe.
