Born, grown and currently living in Kaunas (Lithuania) Tomas Raudavičius was raised in a family of singers. Therefore music was in his blood and mind ever since he was born. In his early teens Tomas chose sports over a music school recommended by his parents. For eight years he’s been involved in a professional swimming and while tumbling in wide open spaces of pop and German trance music he was trying to discover himself. “I’ve always wished for something unusual, something different therefore in my early years I’ve been accidentally hearing Moby or The Chemical Brothers time after time. That was something that made me prick up my ears and go deeper into it”.
Following long musical wandering in about 2002 he had “discovered” Progressive House. This was the moment where his consistent interest in this music, its authors, events and culture started. At that point in time the greatest influence came from DJs such as G-Pal, Anthony Pappa, Lemon 8, etc.
“In roughly 2005 I was getting more and more interested in very music mixing, DJing and playing. I’ve got interested in techniques and styles of mixing. I kept looking at the mixer’s picture and thinking what, where and what it meant. However I’ve arrived at my own DJing technique after several years only. I’ve immediately slogged at my work and one month afterwards, in March 2007, I was already able to be proud of my first mix played on local dance music show”.
Every new mix by Tom Flagman represents a careful selection of music pieces, application of up-to-date techniques and exceptional quality of mixing.
