"Music is the universal language. It brings everyone together. It does not matter where you come from, who you are or how much you have. Music transcends all barriers. When you hear my music on the radio, I want to create an image of a nightclub that you want to be in, with people that you want to be with. Even if that perfect nightclub does not exist, I want you to experience it in your mind."

With 29 years of spinning, Maurizio Saez has captivated audiences all over the world with his unique, pulsating and explosive sets. By combining the synthesized sounds of electronic music with the beats of Afro-Cuban drums and the mystical vocals of Santeria (a spiritual religion of the earth), Maurizio Saez succeeds in blending the music of two different cultures and two different times, creating a dark contemporary sound that is seductive, primal and full of energy. From techno, Minimal, to tribal house, his distinctive sound commands the dance floor wherever he goes.

As the founder and music director of AlienSignal inc., Maurizio Saez seeks to bring the latest and most groundbreaking sounds in electronic dance music to his listeners. Known for discovering new talent and trendsetting sounds, he was among the first to bring out the sounds of Detroit techno, Chicago House and European trance from the underground scene. Throughout his career, he has managed several successful radio stations, including Alien Signal 94.3FM, which operated from 1989 to 1996. Currently, he is in the process of creating two new internet radio channels, Radio Nostalgia and the Ambient Music Channel.

As a talented composer and producer of ambient, techno and House music, Maurizio Saez has been DJing since the age of 10 in 78'. From the teenage clubs of the 1980s to the Full Moon Parties of the late 1990s, he has helped to mold and create a unique "Miami sound." From Spain, Mexico, Colombia, to San Francisco and New York, he has played in major venues all over the world, including the gay circuit.

On his spare time, Maurizio Saez likes to produce music and operate his amateur radio (HAM Radio), where he speaks to people from all over the world. He believes radio is mystical and likes to tell a story of a boy, who when asked by his father why he does not like television, he responds "because radio has better images."

"Currently, programming ExtendFM and setting up a low power FM station that will "only" broadcast dance music. Also play in major venues and recently going to have shows in 10 LPFM stations and a residency at two clubs in Miami Beach."
