Bio Light (Mexico) 20 years back in time this veteran of the turntables started his career into the Mexican electronic music movement. He has played at the national top clubs of the moment as well as in international stages. To mention a few places: London, Ibiza, Miami, Buenos Aires, Costa Rica and Guatemala.
Back in 1987 under the influence of the acid house and new beat sounds, began his work as a pioneer of the mexican electronic music parties. In the days when the "underground" was its best reference he performed in numerous raves and by 1993 those were crowded with 2000 and even 3000 people. In 1998 he promoted important events with Cookie & Ramiro such as "Epicure and "Acid city" well remembered by the Sasha & Digweed first time performance in the country.
In 1999 It was invited to the balance record pool on1999 to 2003 . and he began his own story into the independent music production industry with the creation of Infradig Records. This label has bring to life tracks like Degobah and hosted collaborations of well known figures such as Luis Enrique Guzman, Cassiopea, Pollux, Caliz and Adventium with Dj Parlage. Light starts the Infradig Records project along with Hugo Carrano, producing tracks together with names like Akaska and Amsterdam fever, also compiled by the Chilango Magazine in Mexico generating a record in sales of 50, 000 copies. In the 2003 edition of the Heinekens "Mexico found@thirst" Dj contest he was ranked as number 1 of the year.
This experienced Dj has resonated dance-floors all over México with excellent response from the audience. Cities like Guadalajara, Monterrey, Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Ciudad Juarez, Colima and Cabo San Lucas are just a few of them. During 2006 he was resident of the top club "AM" in Mexico city and is now resident of one of the prime clubs around,the Shyloh Club. He describes himself as having a versatile style in his music selection, constructed from various and different trends in electronic music such as tech-house, deep-house, progressive house and techno.
Light has performed along with top international Djs on his Mexico! like Sasha, John Digweed, Chris Fortier, Jimmy VM, Dave Seaman, Paul VDK, M.r C, Sean Q6, Tiesto, Paul Okendfold, Anthony Pappa, Cass, Tini Tun, Steve Lawler, Martinez, Marc Marzenit, Dave Ralph, Jose Castillo, Sven Vath, Francesco Farfa and Carl Cox to name a few and is now dedicated to the music production, working on oncoming new tracks on his record label and the release date are the 28 of august 2008 on Beatport , Juno Downloads, I tunes music, HMV
Infradig Records is now focused deeply into the widespread of the mexican electronic music movement working as well as an agency to support the work of various local producers and Djs and in association with Hipnotik, an international Dj booking agency.
