Aware (Jacksonville, Florida, USA) Affiliates: bourbon street station Dj Aware, truly a rare breed and a local legend in the hearts of many. After serving his country in the US Army from 1992-1995 he embarked on his mission to serve his country from behind the 1's and 2's in a very big way. Taken under the knowledgeable wing of Jacksonville's own 'Miguel Alvarez', Aware would begin his decent down the rabbit hole and his journey into EDM's waiting arms. Since that faith full day Aware has held residencies throughout North East Florida's premier club circuit in places such as Club 5, DV8 , Paradome ,618,Xanadu,Mardi gras, and the club that has done more for EDM then most could ever hope to. The Blue Room. While touring the night club scene Aware has mixed it up alongside such names as Steve Porter, Hector Romero, Meat Katie, Dj Dayhota, Chris Fortier, Gabriel & Dresden, Nigel Richards, Dave Ralph, Danny Howells, Anthony Poppa, Sasha&Digweed, And countless other acts. When Aware hits the stage it is high energy from the start. Weather he is jumping around on stage amidst his set or his is lounging out on a table in a very vogue-esque pose..Aware is definitely not afraid to take it there! One thing is clearly evident in watching and listening to him play, and that is his deep rooted love for the music and his appreciation for those whom he plays for. It is safe to say we will be enjoying his sets for a long time to come. |
