Proton Music
(Los Angeles, Calfornia, United States)
Proton Music was founded in April of 2005 by Proton Radio director and Particles host Jason Wohlstadter (aka Jay Epoch). The inspiration for the label came from it's first release, "Fingerpaint" by Digital Witchcraft, which at the time was having trouble finding a home.
The label aims to capture the variety of genres played on Proton Radio while keeping true to Jay Epoch's musical taste: atmospheric and melodic electronica. Visit ProtonRadio.com for the official Proton Music website with detailed information on all our releases and extended previews of all our tracks.
Proton Music releases biweekly on Beatport, iTunes, and other digital retailers.

A talented quartet led by the all-mighty Umek climb aboard a remix EP for one of Proton Music's biggest singles of last year-- "My Eyes" by Jimmy Van M. The new Remix EP, titled "My Eyes - Part 2", fe .. More » atures the vocal talents of New York based vocalist Steve T and the production wizardry of Jersey's Marc Mitchell.
Joining Umek and his agressive techno journey of a remix come Sasha supported producer Gabe from Equador. His deep & techy music has appeared on Sasha's own emFire label, Dave Seaman's Audiotherapy, Kasey Taylor's eVapour8, and D-Nox's Sprout. His latest doesn't disappoint.
One of the scene's fast rising progressive acts, Dibby Dougherty, has already remixed the likes of Steve Mill, Jay Tripwire, Jay Lumen, and Evil Eddie Richards. With music forthcoming on Global Underground and a radio show in the works, Dibby now turns in this releases progressive stormer. As with Gabe, it is his Proton Music debut.
Last but not least, another Sasha remix hits the decks as Logiztik Sounds throws down an analog interpretation with a very techy mix filled with some twisted effects. Keep an eye out for Logiztik's new label and radio show, Maktub.
Part 2 of the 'My Eyes' coming soon...
