  The company was started in 2006 by Bill Thomason, a DJ/Producer living in the Denver area. Bill has also recently landed an endorsement by Sabian Cymbals as he is also the drummer for Ten Cent Redemption. A Regional act based out of Denver.

So far the releases have ranged from Progressive house to breaks to tech-house to electro-house.
From the start, the releases on Polytechnic have been gathering attention from a wide range of DJs such as:

"I love the Shiloh boys, but the original is a bit too electro house for my tastes. It's very good though - just not for me. Medway's remix happily takes care of that for me and removes all of the parts that didn't work for me and builds upon the ones that did. Jesse turned in an amazing remix."
