Outside the Box Music was launched in 2006 and is the creative outlet of Dutchman Eelke Kleijn. Besides being a home base for his own productions, Outside the Box Music aims to release quality music from upcoming as well as established producers. In terms of music the label is as diverse as its name suggests, many releases not being easy to pigeonhole into a certain style but instead cross the conventional borders between them.
With releases and remixes by the likes of Dualtone (Johan Vermeulen / Jermain Hatusupy from Fine Taste & Infinitize), Kosmas Epsilon, Nick Hogendoorn, Roger Martinez, Sebastian Davidson and head-honcho Eelke Kleijn himself, the label has built up a pretty varied sound and identity. DJ Support has come from many different corners, including Hernan Cattaneo, Jimmy van M, Anthony Pappa, Fish Go Deep, Paul van Dyk and Nick Warren. Outside the Box Music is slowly but steadily becoming a well known name in quality house music.

Dutchman Stefanowitz is responsible for the 22nd release on Outside the Box Music. And he does so in style, with a wicked 2-track EP entitled 'Witzkraft | Open'. His deep techno beats combined with wa .. More » rm melodies and lush pads give his music an incredibly rich sound. Just listen to the first few minutes of Witzkraft and you know exactly what we mean. It's no suprise he already released his music on credible labels like Anjunabeats, Strom and Smoke Digital. As a DJ he also been around for a long time, playing at some of Amsterdam's oldest and most famous clubs as well as international festivals like Dance Valley.
On remix duties is Satoshi Fumi from Japan. This man almost does not need further introduction, with releases on labels like Urbantorque, Plastic City, Klik Records and Yoshitoshi. As if Witzkraft was not massive enough by itself already, Satoshi takes the original and turns it up another notch. This is absolutely wicked, don't miss it!
